It’s all about you…turn the ordinary into the extraordinary! Ideally, you will have at least 2 years’ experience within the Automotive Parts industry as Parts or Service Advisor or relevant demonstrable experience in a similar type of role. Most importantly, you will demonstrate exceptional attention to detail and strong organisational skills. You are confident on the computer, with a high level of ability to deliver on processes and compliance requirements. Your positive and can-do attitude demonstrates excellent customer service skills, with an enthusiastic and respectful approach to deliver your work with a high level of integrity and a drive to succeed! You have a ‘Full Clean UK Driving Licence’.

Responsibilities:
  • To provide polite and courteous service to all external and internal guests, interpreting their requirements for various parts and developing business opportunities for the department, always optimising the guest experience.
  • To inform, promote and sell parts to external and workshop guests, making the most of opportunities via telephone and direct contact and ensuring guest demands are fulfilled.
  • Accurately complete and store all paperwork, including picking slips, guest contact details, sales and lost sales information to ensure up-to-date guest information is always available and accessible.
  • Check all parts returned by guests for damage and condition, noting down returns details and logging the parts back into the department.
  • Maintain a tidy and organised stock warehouse, arranging stock as per guest and workshop requests.
  • Update and maintain parts literature and related information to promote a speedy and effective service for all guests.
  • Maintain an accurate account of stock via stock check and booking out procedures of parts.
  • Plan and establish parts displays to ensure they are up-to-date and professional.
  • Process invoices for the purchase of parts to ensure the prompt receipt of payments when applicable.
