Teaching Assistant Grade 4, 30.5 hours per week, term time only.

Central Co-operative Learning Trust is seeking to appoint two highly effective teaching assistants from September 2026 - initially on a fixed term contract for one year. Grange School is an ethnically diverse and culturally rich infant school, with an attached nursery, situated in the middle of Burton-upon-Trent. We have high expectations of everybody in our school and our inclusive environment aims to inspire curiosity, creativity and a lifelong love of learning in each individual.

Working alongside class teachers to adapt activities and ensure inclusive learning, you will work closely with pupils in Early Years and/or Key Stage 1. The role may require you to work alongside individual children and groups, and take the lead in managing small groups of pupils for specific interventions. The position will also include supporting pupils at lunchtime.

We are looking for candidates with strong behaviour management, good interpersonal skills and a caring personality. The role is ideal for those who have a strong understanding of child development and early learning and experience of supporting pupils with a range of Special Educational Needs and Disabilities.
