Grandma’s Soup is a charity with a simple but powerful mission: to reduce loneliness among older adults through cooking and connection. The initiative is inspired by the Dutch initiative Oma’s Soep. In the Netherlands, Oma’s Soep has grown rapidly with student‑led boards in 14 cities. They deliver weekly soup sessions and run social initiatives that foster connection across generations. Surplus vegetables are used to create soups, reducing food waste. We are now bringing this model to the UK, starting with Oxford, and are looking for motivated student entrepreneurs to help build and shape our first UK chapter. This is a hands‑on leadership opportunity where you’ll help design, launch, and grow a charity that makes a real difference in people’s lives.
