We are looking for an experienced FLT Driver / Warehouse Operative to join our warehouse, logistics and production support team in Steeton. This is a varied, hands-on role within a busy manufacturing environment where you will be responsible for forklift operations, stock control, goods inwards, dispatch activities, material handling and warehouse support. You will play a key role in ensuring materials, components and finished goods move efficiently throughout the business.
The Role
Working closely with warehouse and production colleagues, you will be responsible for the safe movement, storage and control of materials across site, helping to ensure production operations run smoothly and efficiently. Your duties will include:
- Operating Pivot Steer and Counterbalance forklift trucks safely and efficiently
- Receiving deliveries and locating stock correctly within the warehouse
- Supplying materials and stock to production areas as required
- Recording all stock movements accurately on the company system
- Maintaining stock accuracy and ensuring physical stock matches system records
- Supporting goods inwards and outbound deliveries
- Maintaining warehouse organisation, housekeeping and safety standards
- Following company quality procedures, waste management and recycling processes
- Assisting with stock checks and stock takes
- Supporting general warehouse and production-related activities as required
Candidate requirements
To be successful in this role, you will be a reliable and proactive individual with previous warehouse or manufacturing experience and a strong commitment to safety, accuracy and teamwork.

- Previous experience within a warehouse, manufacturing or production environment
- Valid Pivot Steer and Counterbalance FLT licences
- Good attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong organisational skills

- Reliable team player with a strong work ethic
- Good understanding of health and safety procedures within a warehouse environment
