Job type: Full Time role - 5 days Tuesdays to Saturdays (with some (pre-agreed) early mornings). The purpose of this role will be to support the Shop Manager and Company Directors with the smooth running of the Grandirosa floral design atelier. Supporting on creating bespoke orders and arrangements, maintaining the store to ensure the space is at its best, building relationships with our various clients and helping to create a positive working energy in the studio.

Other main tasks and responsibilities will include:

  • Conditioning, organising and allocating flowers to various jobs.
  • Ensuring that the shop is organised and is looking its best at all times.
  • Vase and prop organisation; maintaining and checking shop stock levels; carrying out all beginning and end of day duties.
  • Event delivery and set up.

Support the Shop Manager in the following tasks:

  • Sourcing / buying props, flowers, sundries, etc.
  • Organising transportation of goods (flowers, sundries, props, etc).
  • Management and scheduling of contractors.
  • Managing client enquiries (phone and email) where required.
  • Supporting in the Grandirosa Studio.

The ideal candidate will be:

  • Enthusiastic, diligent and proactive.
  • Hard working with a team player approach.
  • Comfortable working on their own initiative as well as working within a team.
  • Familiar with Gmail, Google Docs/Sheets/Slides and Microsoft Word/Excel/ppt etc.
  • Comfortable in a client facing role.
  • A passion for flowers and the floristry industry, with experience preferred.
