We are seeking a Regional Manager who would like the opportunity to lead a portfolio of our beautiful Dicky Birds nurseries across South West London with the trust, freedom and autonomy to make decisions that will have the greatest impact.
About the Role
Reporting to the Regional Operations Director, you will lead a portfolio of 8 nurseries and one after school club providing inspirational leadership and support to Nursery Managers while driving outstanding quality, occupancy, commercial performance and colleague engagement across your region.
You will be accountable for ensuring every nursery delivers an exceptional experience for children and families, achieves strong commercial results and maintains the highest standards of safeguarding, compliance and Early Years education.
What You'll Be Doing
- Lead, coach and develop a team of Nursery Managers.
- Drive occupancy, revenue growth and commercial performance.
- Take ownership of regional budgets and profit and loss performance.
- Champion outstanding Early Years education ensuring every nursery meets or exceeds EYFS and Ofsted standards.
- Lead health, safety and safeguarding across your region.
- Recruit, develop and retain exceptional leaders.
- Support succession planning and talent development.
- Ensure compliance with safer recruitment and all people processes.
- Create and deliver improvement plans that drive sustainable quality and business growth.
- Work collaboratively with Recruitment, HR, Finance, Customer Services and the Early Years team.
- Support company projects, acquisitions and new nursery openings.
- Act as the nominated Ofsted representative for your region.
About You
You are an experienced operational leader who is passionate about developing people and creating exceptional experiences for children and families. You will have:
- Multi site management experience.
- At least five years' experience within the Early Years sector.
- Strong commercial awareness with experience managing budgets and performance.
- A proven ability to coach and inspire high performing teams.
- Excellent communication and relationship building skills.
- A calm, resilient and adaptable leadership style.
- Confidence to make decisions and lead with autonomy.
- A full UK driving licence and willingness to travel across South West London.
