Early Years Nursery Assistant – Kiddi Caru, Hanham

The Kiddi Caru Day Nursery in Hanham is looking for a caring and enthusiastic Early Years Assistant to play a key role supporting a child requiring additional support (1-1) and caring for, supporting and inspiring our children.
Hours: 30x hours on Wednesday, Thursday, Friday. Additional working hours can be discussed on initial call.
- Core Responsibilities
- Act as liaison between parents and staff regarding each child’s day.
- Ensure children are supervised, supported and comfortable throughout the day.
- Plan and deliver age-appropriate activities.
- Ensure Individual Education Plans (IEPs) are in place and followed.
- Collect, record and update relevant information for children with SEND.
- Keep up to date with initiatives and best practice.
- Complete all relevant training.
- Help maintain an attractive and welcoming environment.
- Follow all company policies, procedures and operational practices.
- Maintain a positive attitude with children, parents, visitors and colleagues.
- Attend staff meetings, planning sessions and required training.
