About Our Nursery
Join our purpose‑built nursery, designed to provide a safe, welcoming environment for children to learn and grow. We offer four bright, spacious playrooms and a sensory room, supporting children at every stage of development, with transitions based on readiness. Our beautiful woodland‑style garden features climbing frames, a sandpit, mud kitchen, and gardening area, creating a stimulating space for outdoor learning and play. Be part of a supportive team in a setting that encourages curiosity, development, and wellbeing for every child.
Location and Travel
Join Toad Hall Rayleigh, conveniently located on the grounds of Wyburn Primary School on the outskirts of Southend‑on‑Sea. Easily accessible by car and direct bus routes, our nursery is ideally placed for commuting staff from the local area.
What You Will Be Doing
- Ensure that the children’s individual needs are identified and met
- Supervise and support the children at all times
- Carry out a wide range of interactive tasks including reading stories, helping at mealtimes, playing games, and changing nappies
- Act as a positive, practical role model for the children
- Develop friendly, professional relationships with staff members and parents
- Ensure you fully understand and follow Safeguarding Procedures
- Work towards gaining your Early Years qualification in a supportive and professional environment with hands‑on experience
