What will you be doing:
- Influence and shape the practices in the nursery and share in a collective responsibility for their implementation
- Be open to opportunities for improvement and encourage staff to make suggestions on nursery practices
- Support the process of effective assessment, recording and reporting on progress in children’s development and learning
- Play an active role in identifying and finding ways of meeting the professional development needs of nursery practitioners
- Co-ordinate and implement agreed programmes and interventions on a day-to-day basis
- Encourage other practitioners to have high expectations of all children and demonstrate commitment to helping them achieve their full potential
- Ensure all staff demonstrate the positive values, attitudes and behaviour which are expected from the children
NOTE: The candidate must have Qualified Teacher Status, Early Years Professional Status, or be Level 6 Qualified.
