Overview
Kiddi Caru Day Nursery and Preschool Taunton, part of Grandir UK, is seeking a caring and enthusiastic Nursery Practitioner to join our team. You will play a key role in caring for, supporting and inspiring children, encouraging curiosity and helping them thrive every day. Salary £26,437 - £28,018 (depending on experience and qualifications with regular pay reviews). About Our Nursery
Our nursery setting offers a safe and stimulating environment where children can progress through their Early Years journey at their own pace. Our eight bright, airy playrooms are named after local fruits and tailored to each stage of a child’s development. Our Taunton Nursery offers three vibrant gardens for safe, stimulating outdoor play, including mud kitchens and vegetable-growing areas. We also have a dedicated forest school practitioner guiding children in exploring nature, developing motor, social, and physical skills.
Activities
Engaging early years programmes include Sing and Sign, Boogie Mites, Make and Bake, and Yoga, plus local park outings to connect children with their community and environment.

What Will You Be Doing
- Promote high standards of quality within the nursery
- Support and supervise playroom staff with their day-to-day duties
- Ensure that practice and provision in the nursery meets the requirements of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)
- Provide professional, relevant feedback to parents/carers about their child
- Promote the nursery to current parents and potential customers
- Develop open and positive working relationships with staff
- Ensure that all staff develop and maintain friendly, professional relationships with parents and carers
