Nursery Holiday Assistant role at Grandir UK

Location: Whiteley, Hampshire area (Kiddi Caru Day Nursery – Whiteley)

Overview

We’re looking for enthusiastic, caring, and energetic students to join our team this holiday season. As a Holiday Assistant, you\’ll play a key role in creating a safe, fun, and engaging environment for young children to learn and grow.

Responsibilities

  • Provide a positive role model to ensure that Grandir UK values are maintained
  • Ensure equality of access and opportunity for all staff, parents and children
  • Supervise and support children at all times
  • Contribute to maintaining an attractive and welcoming environment
  • Prepare and supervise activities under the guidance of Level 3 qualified Practitioners
  • Read, understand and implement all company policies, procedures and operational practices
  • Adhere to changes in policies, procedures and operational practices within the required timescale
  • Ensure practice and provision in the nursery meets the requirements of the Early Years Foundation Stage
  • Notify the line manager of any concerns or issues regarding company policies, procedures and operational practices
  • Maintain a positive attitude with children, parents, visitors and work colleagues
  • Maintain confidentiality where appropriate
  • Attend regular staff/planning meetings and undertake training as required

  • Friendly, reliable, and responsible students
  • A passion for working with children and making a difference
  • Previous childcare experience is a bonus (but not essential)
  • Must be available for holiday work (dates flexible)

  • Attend training and planning meetings as required
