Nursery Holiday Assistant role at Grandir UK
Location: Whiteley, Hampshire area (Kiddi Caru Day Nursery – Whiteley)
Overview
We’re looking for enthusiastic, caring, and energetic students to join our team this holiday season. As a Holiday Assistant, you\’ll play a key role in creating a safe, fun, and engaging environment for young children to learn and grow.
Responsibilities
- Provide a positive role model to ensure that Grandir UK values are maintained
- Ensure equality of access and opportunity for all staff, parents and children
- Supervise and support children at all times
- Contribute to maintaining an attractive and welcoming environment
- Prepare and supervise activities under the guidance of Level 3 qualified Practitioners
- Read, understand and implement all company policies, procedures and operational practices
- Adhere to changes in policies, procedures and operational practices within the required timescale
- Ensure practice and provision in the nursery meets the requirements of the Early Years Foundation Stage
- Notify the line manager of any concerns or issues regarding company policies, procedures and operational practices
- Maintain a positive attitude with children, parents, visitors and work colleagues
- Maintain confidentiality where appropriate
- Attend regular staff/planning meetings and undertake training as required

- Previous childcare experience is a bonus (but not essential)
- Must be available for holiday work (dates flexible)
