About Our Nursery

Our lovely day nursery and preschool in Harpenden, in a beautiful converted house, ideally situated in a leafy residential area. We are a small nursery with a homely environment. Our spacious rooms are bright, airy and well-resourced, where our focus is on your child’s growth and development. Our nursery school is among the finest in our area, offering outstanding care and education, encouraging children to blossom during their crucial Early Years development.

Location

Our Harpenden day nursery and preschool on Sun Lane is ideally located in a leafy residential area, only a short walk from Harpenden town centre and close to popular local schools. Harpenden train station is about a 10 minute walk away with fast and direct train links into London; ideal for our adults who commute to work via public transport. We are only five miles from the city of St Albans, yet in a wonderful area surrounded by the beautiful Hertfordshire countryside.

What will you be doing

  • Supervising and supporting children at all times
  • Preparing and supporting activities under the guidance of Level 3 qualified practitioners
  • Maintaining a safe, engaging and welcoming environment
  • Following company policies, safeguarding procedures and operational practices
  • Building positive relationships with children, parents and colleagues
  • Attending staff meetings, planning sessions and training as required
