About Our Nursery
Kiddi Caru Day Nursery in Market Harborough is a purpose-built nursery and preschool, located over two floors. We incorporate the Hygge approach throughout our rooms and offer opportunities for children to use their imagination and curiosity through play.
Well-Resourced Playrooms
We have a total of five newly decorated playrooms. Each room is thoughtfully designed with high-quality, age-appropriate resources, toys, and activities that are safe, engaging, and support children’s development at every stage.
Monthly Stay and Play Sessions
Good working relationships with parents and caregivers are extremely important to us. We host various activities and events to engage parents, but our monthly stay and play sessions are a highlight for all involved.
Garden Space
Each of our five playrooms has access to their own garden space which has been thoughtfully resourced for their age group and development. We have shelters to ensure the gardens can be enjoyed all year round. This environment is the perfect hands-on space for children to develop and have fun.
Outdoor Space
Our nursery has a large outdoor area that caters to all ages. It boasts a fixed climbing frame and slide, a mud kitchen, as well as a large sheltered sand area. Our preschoolers have an investigation garden to expand on the Curiosity Approach.
What You Will Be Doing
- Ensure that the children’s individual needs are identified and met
- Supervise and support the children at all times
- Carry out a wide range of interactive tasks including reading stories, helping at mealtimes, playing games, and changing nappies
- Act as a positive, practical role model for the children
- Develop friendly, professional relationships with staff members and parents
- Ensure you fully understand and follow Safeguarding Procedures
- Work towards gaining your Early Years qualification in a supportive and professional environment with hands-on experience
