You will play a key role in caring for, supporting and inspiring our children, encouraging curiosity and helping them thrive every day. This role is to cover maternity leave.

About Our Nursery

Kiddi Caru Day Nursery in Market Harborough is a purpose-built nursery and preschool, located over two floors. We incorporate the Hygge approach throughout our rooms and offer opportunities for children to use their imagination and curiosity through play.

Well-Resourced Playrooms

We have a total of five newly decorated playrooms. Each room is thoughtfully designed with high-quality, age-appropriate resources, toys, and activities that are safe, engaging, and support children’s development at every stage.

Monthly Stay and Play Sessions

Good working relationships with parents and caregivers are extremely important to us. We host various activities and events to engage parents, but our monthly stay and play sessions are a highlight for all involved.

Garden Space

Each of our five playrooms has access to their own garden space which has been thoughtfully resourced for their age group and development. We have shelters to ensure the gardens can be enjoyed all year round. This environment is the perfect hands-on space for children to develop and have fun. Our nursery has a large outdoor area that caters to all ages. It boasts a fixed climbing frame and slide, a mud kitchen, as well as a large sheltered sand area. Our preschoolers have an investigation garden to expand on the Curiosity Approach.

Our holistic dedication has resulted in a ‘Good’ Ofsted report and we are continuously working to provide excellent childcare and education. We are proud to have received a ‘Good’ rating.

Location

Our Kiddi Caru Market Harborough Day Nursery and Preschool is conveniently situated on the Bowden Business Village just off the A6, Harborough Road (near the McDonalds roundabout) on the edge of Market Harborough in Leicestershire. For those travelling by public transport, there is a Bus 44 stop just off the roundabout, a 2 minute walk away from the nursery school. If travelling by car, we have ample parking on our premises.

What will you be doing?
  • Promoting high standards of quality within the nursery
  • Supporting and supervising playroom staff with their day-to-day duties
  • Deploying staff effectively to ensure required standards are delivered and maintained
  • Ensuring the effective implementation of key person procedures and allocating children appropriately
  • Ensuring practice and provision meets the requirements of the EYFS
  • Providing professional and relevant feedback to parents and carers
  • Promoting the nursery to current parents and potential customers
  • Developing open and positive working relationships with staff
  • Ensuring all staff maintain friendly and professional relationships with parents and carers
