At Grandir UK, we are looking for a dedicated and dynamic Regional Manager to join our growing team. This is a key leadership role where you will support and inspire our nurseries across the South East, ensuring consistently high standards of care, safety, and education. You will work closely with nursery teams to drive performance, develop talent, and create environments where both children and colleagues can thrive. Role Purpose
The Regional Manager leads a team of Nursery Managers, implementing effective processes and practices across the region to drive commercial performance and deliver high-quality outcomes for children and families. You will play a key role in ensuring the business remains safe, compliant, efficient, and profitable.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as Health, Safety and Safeguarding Lead for the region
- Recruit and retain high-performing leaders aligned to company vision and values
- Provide leadership, coaching and mentoring to Nursery Managers
- Support apprentice strategy and monitor apprentice experience at nursery level
- Ensure full compliance across all people processes (including safer recruitment, performance management and appraisals)
- Ensure all nurseries deliver the EYFS and meet or exceed regulatory requirements, maintaining or achieving GOOD or OUTSTANDING Ofsted ratings
- Take accountability for P&L and budget performance across the region
- Drive growth, efficiency, and performance across nurseries
- Ensure clear and effective action plans are in place to achieve quality and growth targets
- Act as Nominated Ofsted Second for the region, including notifications and complaint management
- Contribute to company-wide projects and initiatives
Person Specification
- At least 1 year’s experience in multi-site management (internal succession plans considered)
- At least 5 years’ experience within the Early Years sector
