About Our Nursery

Our Approach: At Kiddi Caru Coronation Road, we follow a play‑based, child‑centred Early Years curriculum that supports each stage of development from babies to preschoolers. Children explore through programmes like Health & Self, Innovate & Investigate, Move & Groove, Make & Bake and Sow & Grow, helping them build confidence, creativity and a love of learning in a nurturing environment.

Our Location: Located at 3A Coronation Road, Downend, Bristol, BS16 5SN, our nursery enjoys a peaceful setting in South Gloucestershire while remaining well‑connected with transport links to Staple Hill, Mangotsfield, Emersons Green and beyond.

Our Team: Our passionate and experienced team are committed to providing high‑quality early years education. With Level 3 qualified practitioners trained in safeguarding, paediatric first aid and food hygiene, we deliver attentive, nurturing care tailored to every child’s needs.

Facilities: The nursery offers age‑appropriate indoor playrooms with cosy, home‑like spaces and a range of stimulating resources. Children benefit from three outdoor garden areas with play kitchens, water play, sand trays and growing benches that support imaginative play and outdoor exploration.

Activities: Children take part in a variety of enriching experiences, including physical activities like yoga and sports, creative play, sensory learning and regular themed sessions that support physical, social and emotional development.

Community Outings: Regular outings help children engage with the local environment, from walks to parks to visits to the library, encouraging confidence, curiosity and connection with their wider community.

Parent Partnerships: Families stay informed through a nursery app with daily updates on meals, activities and progress. We also host events like parents’ evenings and seasonal celebrations to strengthen home‑nursery connections.

Ofsted: Kiddi Caru Day Nursery & Preschool on Coronation Road was judged “Good” in its most recent Ofsted inspection, with positive recognition for the quality of education, care and management.

What will you be doing
  • Promote high standards of quality within the nursery
  • Support and supervise playroom staff with their day‑to‑day duties
  • Deploy staff appropriately to ensure that the required standards are delivered and maintained within the rooms
  • Ensure the effective implementation of the nursery keycarer procedures and allocate children to keycarers appropriately
  • Ensure that practice and provision in the nursery meets the requirements of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)
  • Provide professional, relevant feedback to parents/carers about their child
  • Promote the nursery to current parents and potential customers
  • Develop open and positive working relationships with staff
  • Ensure that all staff develop and maintain friendly, professional relationships with parents and carers
