Our Kiddi Caru in Soundwell, Bristol, part of Grandir UK, is currently looking for a SENCO Co‑ordinator to support, assess, plan and monitor the progress of children with special educational needs.

Position: Part‑time – 4 hours per day, Wednesdays and Fridays.

Responsibilities:

  • Act as liaison between parents and staff for children with SEN/D.
  • Advise and support other nursery practitioners on children with SEN/D.
  • Ensure appropriate Individual Education Plans are in place.
  • Collect, record and update relevant background information about children.
  • Keep up to date with initiatives and best practice.
