Our First Place Day Nursery in Beaconsfield is looking for a caring and enthusiastic Deputy Manager to join our team.
You will play a key role in caring for, supporting and inspiring our children, encouraging curiosity and helping them thrive every day.

One of our favourite features is our growing and baking experience .

- What will you be doing
- Create an environment that supports the individual needs of all children
- Maintain systems to monitor, evaluate and improve the quality of our childcare practices
- Maintain effective methods of communication with children, staff, parents, and carers
- Maintain open and positive working relationships with staff
- Ensure that practices and provision in the nursery meets the requirements of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)
- Assist in agreeing and reviewing individual targets with staff
- Assume playroom and additional management responsibilities when required
- Keep costs in line with the agreed budgets
What we're looking for
We're looking for a passionate and experienced Deputy Manager who shares our commitment to giving children the very best start in life.
You'll be a positive role model for your team, leading by example and creating an environment where both children and colleagues can thrive.
You'll have
- A full and relevant
Level 3 Early Years qualification or above.
- Previous experience as a Deputy Manager, Third in Charge or an experienced Room Leader looking for the next step.
- A strong understanding of the
EYFS , safeguarding and child development.
- Experience supporting, coaching and developing colleagues to reach their full potential.
- Excellent communication and relationship building skills with children, families and your team.
- A positive, organised and proactive approach with the confidence to support the Nursery Manager in the day to day running of the nursery.
