About Our Nursery
At Anerley we have four spacious playrooms, beginning with the soft and cosy Nurturers which is specifically designed for our babies. Adventurers and Explorers house our younger and older toddlers respectively, both filled with stimulating, high-quality resources to spark their curiosity and encourage exploration. Leaders is our preschool room with a focus on school readiness, helping to build children’s confidence and independence as they prepare for the next exciting chapter. We also have a lovely courtyard garden divided into three sections, each featuring canopies and shelters, allowing children to enjoy the space year-round. We provide exceptional Early Years childcare for children from 3 months to 5 years. We offer a fun, energetic and loving environment that nurtures each child’s holistic development. We are proud to have been awarded a Good Ofsted Rating, which reflects our commitment to high‑quality Early Years education and helping children to build the social and emotional foundations they need to thrive.
Our Location
We are located in Schoolkeepers House, next door to Anerley Town Hall and Business Centre, with off‑street parking. Anerley Train Station is across the road from us and Anerley Bus Station is only a 2‑3 minute walk away, making the setting easily accessible for families in the nearby London area.
What Will You Be Doing
- Promote high standards of quality within the nursery
- Support and supervise playroom staff with their day‑to‑day duties
- Deploy staff appropriately to ensure that the required standards are delivered and maintained within the rooms
- Ensure the effective implementation of the nursery keycarer procedures and allocate children to keycarers appropriately
- Ensure that practice and provision in the nursery meets the requirements of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)
- Provide professional, relevant feedback to parents/carers about their child
- Promote the nursery to current parents and potential customers
- Develop open and positive working relationships with staff
- Ensure that all staff develop and maintain friendly, professional relationships with parents and carers
