Dicky Birds Breakfast & After School Club, St Andrews Hall (Surbiton) – Part of Grandir UK

Salary: £10.85–£12.71 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications, with regular pay reviews.

Job Overview: You will be an After School Club Assistant, caring for, supporting and inspiring children. You will encourage curiosity and help them thrive each day.

Hours: 2.30 pm – 6.00 pm, Monday to Friday – 17.5 hours per week.

Location: St Andrews Church Hall, corner of Maple Road and St Andrews Road, Surbiton, London. Five minutes walk from the local high street and Surbiton station.

What You Will Be Doing:

  • Supervising and supporting children at all times
  • Preparing and supervising activities under the guidance of Level 3 qualified practitioners
  • Maintaining a safe, engaging and welcoming environment
  • Following company policies, safeguarding procedures and operational practices
  • Building positive relationships with children, parents and colleagues
  • Attending staff meetings, planning sessions and training as required

Essential Requirements:

  • Qualified with a Level 3 certificate or equivalent.
  • Must hold an enhanced DBS check.
  • Experience of working with children in a childcare setting is desirable.
