Our Dicky Birds Nursery in Claremont Road is looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Nursery Room Leader to join our team. You will take a lead role within your room, supporting your team and creating a safe, caring and stimulating environment where children can learn, develop and thrive.

What will you be doing
- Lead and support the day-to-day running of your nursery room
- Provide high-quality care, learning and development opportunities for the children
- Plan and deliver engaging activities based around the children's interests and development
- Ensure the requirements of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) are met
- Lead, support and motivate your room team
- Build strong and positive relationships with children, parents and colleagues
- Complete observations, assessments and children's development records
- Support the development of an inclusive and welcoming environment
- Maintain high standards of safeguarding, health and safety
- Work closely with the Nursery Manager and wider team to ensure the nursery continues to provide high-quality care
What we're looking for
- A recognised Level 3 qualification in Early Years / Childcare
- Previous experience working within an early years setting
- Experience of leading or supporting a nursery room/team
- A good understanding of the EYFS and safeguarding requirements
- A caring, enthusiastic and positive approach
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- A genuine passion for children's learning and development
