Our Wandsworth Day Nursery in Wandsworth is looking for a caring and enthusiastic Room Leader/Third in Charge (2-3's) to join our team. About Our Nursery

The Wandsworth Day Nursery and Preschool provides a warm, welcoming and nurturing environment for children aged three months to five years. All the staff provide exceptional childcare and early years education which our families love. We are proud to have received a ‘Good’ rating from Ofsted. This reflects our commitment to ensuring every child has the support and love they need to confidently learn and grow.

What will you be doing

  • Promote high standards of quality within the nursery
  • Support and supervise playroom staff with their day-to-day duties
  • Deploy staff appropriately to ensure that the required standards are delivered and maintained within the rooms
  • Ensure the effective implementation of the nursery keycarer procedures and allocate children to keycarers appropriately
  • Ensure that practice and provision in the nursery meets the requirements of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)
  • Provide professional, relevant feedback to parents/carers about their child
  • Promote the nursery to current parents and potential customers
  • Develop open and positive working relationships with staff
  • Ensure that all staff develop and maintain friendly, professional relationships with parents and carers
