Our Little Cubs Nursery in Honour Oak is currently looking for a House Keeper to join our team. They will be responsible for maintaining a high level of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the nursery.

What will you be doing
- Prepare and serve healthy snacks and refreshments for the children, following nursery guidelines and dietary requirements.
- Wash and clean dishes, cups, utensils and kitchen equipment after snack and meal times.
- Keep the nursery rooms, play areas and communal spaces clean, tidy and hygienic.
- Clean and sanitise tables, surfaces, floors and frequently touched areas.
- Empty bins and ensure waste is disposed of appropriately.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness throughout the nursery.
- Follow the nursery’s health, safety and hygiene procedures at all times.
- Report any cleaning, maintenance or safety issues to the nursery manager.
- Work as part of the nursery team to ensure the environment is safe, welcoming and suitable for young children.
Weekly tasks will include:
- A damp clean of all skirting boards
- Cleaning all glass door panels
- Cleaning all door handles
- A damp clean of all windowsills
Monthly tasks will include:
- A deep clean of all nursery carpets
- A thorough dusting of the nursery
