Our Pippa's House Day Nursery in Guildford is looking for a caring and enthusiastic Deputy Manager to join our team. You will play a key role in caring for, supporting and inspiring our children, encouraging curiosity and helping them thrive every day.

About Our Nursery

Outdoor Area

Spending time outdoors is essential for children’s physical health and emotional wellbeing. We are fortunate to have two beautiful gardens at our Guildford nursery, accessible all year round. This spacious outdoor setting gives children plenty of room to run, jump, play with friends, and take part in active, imaginative games.

Location and Travel

Our Guildford nursery is conveniently located within walking distance of the town centre, bus and train stations. It’s an ideal choice for commuting families being just a 5-minute drive away from the A3 and features on-site parking, which makes pick up and drop off incredibly simple.

What will you be doing

  • Create an environment that supports theindividual needs of all children
  • Maintain systems to monitor, evaluate and improve the quality of our childcare practices
  • Maintain effective methods of communication with children, staff, parents, and carers
  • Maintain open and positive working relationships with staff
  • Ensure that practices and provision in the nursery meets the requirements of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)
  • Assist in agreeing and reviewing individual targets with staff
  • Assume playroom and additional management responsibilities when required
  • Keep costs in line with the agreed budget s
