Our Kiddi Caru Day Nursery in Hanham, part of Grandir UK, is currently looking for a SEND 1-1 Nursery Assistant to join our team. They will be responsible for supporting, assessing, planning and working closely with one child who has identified SEND. This child attends Monday, Wednesday and Friday and you will be working 2 hours on each of those days.

What will you be doing:
- Acting as a liaison between parents and staff for the individual child after their day at their setting
- Supervise and support children at all times, keeping them comfortable and ensuring the activities are suitable and age appropriate for them
- Ensuring that individual education plans are in place
- Ensuring that relevant background information about the child/ren with special educational needs or disabilities is collected, recorded and updated
- Prepare and supervise activities under the guidance of level 3 qualified practitioners
- Keeping up to date with initiatives and gaining all appropriate training to support you
- Contribute to maintaining an attractive and welcoming environment for the children
- Read, understand, and implement all company policies, procedures, and operational practices
- Maintain a positive attitude at all times with children, parents, visitors, and work colleagues
- Attend regular staff meetings, planning meetings and undertake training as required
