Kiddi Caru Day Nursery – Soundwell, Bristol

Salary: £27,664 – £30,160 per year (depending on experience and qualifications, with regular pay reviews)
Hours: 40 hours per week | Full-time

Our Kiddi Caru Day Nursery in Soundwell is looking for a caring and enthusiastic Baby Room Leader to join our team. You will play a key role in caring for, supporting and inspiring our youngest children, encouraging curiosity and helping them thrive every day.

What You'll Be Doing
Promote high standards of quality within the nursery
Lead, support and supervise the baby room team with their day-to-day duties
Ensure staff are deployed appropriately to maintain safe staffing ratios and high standards of care
Create a safe, stimulating and nurturing environment for babies
Plan and support age-appropriate activities that encourage babies' learning and development
Support children's individual needs, routines, sleep patterns and developmental milestones
Ensure effective implementation of key person procedures and allocate children to key people appropriately
Build strong, positive relationships with parents and carers, providing regular feedback about their child's progress
Ensure practice within the room meets EYFS requirements and safeguarding standards
Develop positive working relationships with colleagues and support their ongoing development
What We're Looking For
A recognised Level 3 qualification in Early Years
Experience working within a nursery setting, ideally with babies
Previous experience supporting or leading a team, or the motivation to take the next step into leadership
A good understanding of the EYFS framework and safeguarding requirements
Excellent communication and organisational skills
A caring, positive and enthusiastic approach
A genuine passion for supporting babies' learning and development
