What You Will Do:
- Monitor and operate building systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and security systems.
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on building systems and equipment.
- Conduct regular inspections of facilities to identify and address maintenance needs.
- Respond to facility-related issues and emergencies in a timely manner.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, inspections, and repairs.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies related to facility operations.
- Work closely with the facilities management team and other departments to support facility operations and projects.
- Coordinate with external vendors and contractors for specialized maintenance and repair services.
- Assist vehicle mechanic with minor non-specialized tasks (vehicle transporting, re torques, etc.) as well as assist with safety related tasks in the mechanic's shop.
- Dip Fuel Tanks, monitor fuel levels and advise if any inconsistencies are noticed.
- Perform regular safety inspections of the fuel area and equipment.
What You Will Bring:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in facilities management, HVAC, or a related field is considered an asset.
- DZ license required for transporting material or vehicles.
- Minimum two (2) years of experience in facilities operations, maintenance, building automation systems or a related role.
- Strong technical and mechanical skills.
- Proficiency in operating and maintaining building systems.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills.
- Basic computer skills for record-keeping and reporting.
