We are looking to appoint a compassionate and proactive Family Services Coordinator and Extended Services Coordinator to join our dedicated team. This is an exciting opportunity to make a real difference by supporting pupils and their families through early help, engagement, and access to wider services.
This post will be term time only β 36 hours per week + 5 days inset β 39 working weeks. 4 days working at Grand Union Village School + 1 day working for the Central team.
Hours of work:
- Mon: 8:30β4:15
- Tues: 8:30β4:15
- Wed: 8:30β4:30
- Thurs: 8:30β4:15 (Central Team)
- Fri: 8:30β3:45
Responsibilities:
- Deliver workshops and training for families.
- Provide effective signposting to appropriate support services.
- Work collaboratively with families to build confidence, resilience, and positive outcomes.
- Strengthen relationships between school and home, promoting inclusion.
- Work with internal staff and external agencies to provide a holistic and coordinated approach to family support.
Qualifications:
- Experience of living or working with children and young adults with learning difficulties is desirable.
- Some experience of working with families, in either a paid or voluntary capacity, is essential.
Salary: Scale 5, point 12 Β£28,072.23 to Scale 5, Point 15 Β£29,325.07
