Hybrid Receptionist (Day) + Night Cover β Full Time (42h)
Location: London W2 (Paddington)
Contract: Full-time, permanent
Hours: 42 hours per week, 5 days out of 7 (rota-based)
Shifts: Mainly day shifts, with occasional night shifts as an integral part of the role (to cover holidays/absence and operational needs)

ABOUT US: Grand Hotel Bellevue is a boutique Victorian townhouse hotel in Paddington, focused on warm, personal service and high standards. We are looking for a reliable, guest-focused receptionist who can support daytime operations and cover occasional night shifts when required.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES (DAY SHIFTS):
- Deliver a warm welcome and manage check-in/check-out
- Handle reservations, emails and calls efficiently and professionally
- Manage billing, payments and guest accounts accurately
- Coordinate with Housekeeping and Maintenance to ensure smooth operations
- Upsell rooms and promote the hotel/bar experience where relevant
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES (NIGHT SHIFTS - OCCASIONAL):
- Overnight guest care, late arrivals and early departures
- Billing checks and end-of-day controls (posting/validating charges, ensuring bills accuracy)
- Prepare reports and a clear handover for the day team (daily revenue/arrivals/departures, incidents, key notes)
- Basic security checks / rounds and incident handling
- Night audit / end-of-day tasks (training provided on PROTEL PMS)
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
- Mandatory: Previous experience in hotel Front Office / Reception experience (applications without hotel reception experience will not be considered)
- Confident communication, strong attention to detail, calm under pressure
- Comfortable working independently during night cover
- Fluent English (additional languages a plus)
- Flexibility for rota-based working, including weekends and occasional nights
- Right to work in the UK is required
