About The Role
- Undertaking structural and civil engineering design from concept to detailed design
- Preparing design calculations, technical reports and construction drawings
- Designing infrastructure including highways, sewer networks, SuDS and external works
- Contributing to flood risk assessments, cut & fill volumetrics and ground modelling
- Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, local authorities and clients
- Attending site visits and technical meetings
- Supporting approvals and compliance submissions with relevant authorities
About You
- Degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering or equivalent
- 3+ years experience in a UK civil/structural engineering consultancy environment
- Strong understanding of UK design standards and engineering principles
- Experience with drainage and highway design processes (Section 38/104 submissions)
- Proficiency in technical software (AutoCAD, MicroDrainage/PDS or similar)
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Full UK driving licence
- Desirable: Working towards, or achieved, professional chartered status (ICE/IStructE)
- Experience in geotechnical/ground investigation design and reporting
- Exposure to mixed residential and commercial project types
