About the role: We are looking for a Structural Engineer to join a growing design consultancy and provide ongoing technical design support to a range of clients in the UK with ongoing work available and excellent development opportunities for the right individual. As a Structural Engineer, you will be working on a range of residential, commercial and education projects and should be able to demonstrate experience in completing design on projects in these sectors. Within the role as a Structural Engineer, it will be essential for the chosen individual to complete accurate reports and designs, and your input and contribution to the team are viewed as essential in the continued development of the business.
About you: In addition to having a confident, commercial and professional outlook you should have:
- Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
- Minimum of 2 years UK based experience
- Experience working with Steel, Concrete, Masonry and Timber materials
- Strength in working to British Standards, Eurocodes and relevant design guidance
- Strong analytical, communication and technical design skills
- Excellent communication skills in both written and spoken English
Software required:
- AutoCAD
- Microsoft Office suite
