We are looking for a People & Culture Business Partner – Global Regions to join our international People & Culture team. This role partners closely with senior leaders and managers across multiple regions across Europe and Asia, providing strategic and practical people support in a complex, multicultural, and geographically distributed environment. This is an individual contributor role for an experienced HR professional who enjoys working at both strategic and operational levels. You will help leaders build strong, engaged teams, navigate change, and ensure a consistent, positive employee experience - while respecting local cultures, labour markets, and legal requirements.
What You’ll Do
- Strategic People Partnership
- Act as a trusted advisor to regional and global leaders on people‑related topics, including organizational design, workforce planning, and team effectiveness.
- Translate global People & Culture strategies into practical, locally relevant solutions across different countries and regions.
- Support leaders through organizational change, growth initiatives, restructures, and transformation efforts.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of people practices across our global regions.
- Talent & Performance Management
- Partner with Talent Acquisition and hiring leaders to support recruitment planning and decision‑making across regions.
- Lead or support succession planning, talent reviews, and development planning for key roles.
- Coach managers on performance management, feedback, career development, and leadership capability.
- Promote consistent, fair, and high‑quality people management practices globally.
- Employee Relations & Engagement
- Serve as the primary People & Culture contact for employee relations matters within supported regions.
- Advise managers on performance issues, workplace concerns, and conflict resolution, ensuring compliant and balanced outcomes.
- Support employee engagement, culture, and change initiatives across multicultural and remote teams.
- Champion an inclusive, respectful, and high‑performance working environment.
- Policies, Compliance & Reward
- Implement and embed global People & Culture policies and programs at regional level.
- Ensure compliance with local labour laws and employment practices, working closely with Legal and global P&C colleagues.
- Provide guidance to leaders on compensation, benefits, and reward principles in line with company frameworks and local market norms.
- Insights & Development
- Use people data and insights to identify trends, risks, and opportunities related to engagement, retention, and organizational health.
- Share clear, practical recommendations with leaders and stakeholders.
- Partner with Learning & Development to identify skills gaps and support leadership and professional development initiatives.
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; advanced degree or HR certification (e.g. SHRM‑SCP, SPHR, CIPD) is an advantage.
- 3-5+ years of progressive HR experience, including significant experience in an HR Business Partner or equivalent role.
- Exposure to international teams, ideally in a matrixed or international organization.
- Strong working knowledge of European labour law; experience across multiple countries or jurisdictions is highly desirable.
- Confidence partnering with senior leaders and working independently on complex people matters.
- Excellent English communication skills; additional European languages are a plus.
- Based in Glasgow, UK.
