Summary

Responsible for equipment check out, monitoring pool conditions and ensuring a safe and sanitary pool area within the guidelines of established policy, procedures, and controls. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

Essential Duties Of The Position

  • Inspects pool and deck prior to operation, documenting any defects and/or problems in pool log book.
  • Accurately track all recreational equipment by following check out procedures and documenting in the recreational log book.
  • Perform safety checks each hour. The checks last 10 minutes.
  • Twice a day clean the pool with the vacuum skimmer to eliminate debris.
  • Maintain a clean pool deck area free of dirty towels, garbage and ashtrays.
  • Maintains lodge area by ensuring area is clean and kept dry.
  • Maintains Pool Towels.
  • Effectively communicate with RV Supervisor and Housekeeping Lead.
  • Responsible for promoting positive Guest Relations through prompt, courteous and efficient services.
  • Promotes and creates an atmosphere that encourages associates to share ideas, discuss concerns, and resolve conflicts.
  • Ensures a clean personal work area.
  • Maintains a positive, professional attitude.
  • Performs as a team member by communicating effectively with all members of RV Park.
  • Report all accidents and hazards to appropriate management within the established timeframes.
  • Displays a high level of maturity, discretion, tact, judgment and the ability to deal with confidential matters.
  • Held accountable for the control, accuracy and thoroughness of all records and reports.
  • Any and all other duties as assigned.

Special Qualifications

If required, must be able to pass company pre-employment Drug and Alcohol test. Must be able to secure license from Gaming Regulatory Authority. Mille Lacs Band Member and American Indian preference will be exercised in the hiring process. Responsible for following all relevant DGR’s.

Language Skills

Must possess good verbal and written communication skills. Must be able to effectively communicate in one-on-one and small group situations.

Mathematical Skills

Must be able to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, percentages, common fractions, and decimals.

Reasoning Ability

Must be able to apply common sense understanding to a variety of situations, in order to collect data, analyze facts, and determine appropriate response.

Physical Demands

Talk and hear; See and adjust focus to include close, distance, colour, depth, and peripheral vision; Stand, walk, run, sit, balance, stoop, kneel, climb, crouch, and/or crawl; Handle objects, tools, and controls; reach with arms and hands; Lift, push, pull and/or move objects weighing up to fifty (50) pounds.

Work Environment

A low-to-moderate noise level (offices). A moderate-to-loud noise level (operations areas). Chemical solutions such as cleaning and polishing compounds. At times may be exposed to outside weather conditions.
