The Sales Manager at Grand Canyon Education is a revenue-driven leadership role responsible for scaling a multi-product sales program that supports Canyon Promotions, Canyon Creative, and the GCE Ad Agency. This position leads sales strategy and execution across three growing business lines, driving pipeline development, conversion performance, and revenue growth through a high-performing team of student sales representatives from Grand Canyon University’s College of Business. The Sales Manager will build and optimize scalable sales processes, coach and develop sales talent, and partner cross-functionally with marketing, creative, and operations teams to deliver measurable business results while maintaining a strong performance culture.
Salary Range: $75,000 – $120,000 annually, plus performance-based bonus.
Location: AZ Remote - Occasional visits to Campus
Primary Responsibilities /Accountabilities/ Essential Functions:
- Own and execute sales strategy across all three product lines.
- Drive performance toward revenue targets (PPC, Promotions, Creative).
- Manage student sales representatives across three product lines.
- Monitor pipeline, conversion rates, and monthly/quarterly sales goals.
- Identify opportunities to scale high-performing verticals, industries, and territories.
- Recruit, hire, and onboard student sales representatives.
- Provide ongoing coaching, call reviews, and performance feedback.
- Set individual and team sales targets and hold reps accountable.
- Foster a high-energy, performance-driven team culture.
- Partner with GCU faculty to align roles with academic credit requirements.
- Ensure students are gaining meaningful, resume-building experience.
- Develop structured training programs (sales, product knowledge, CRM usage).
- Design and manage territory assignments (verticals, regions, metros).
- Ensure proper lead routing and CRM discipline to avoid overlap.
- Optimize outreach strategies across industries and geographies.
