About us: Grosvenor Cafe is in the Heart of Ashton Lane in Glasgow's West End. Housed in the former Grosvenor Cinema on Ashton Lane, The Grosvenor Café is a venue that buzzes from brunch ‘til bedtime.

The Role: As a Venue Host at The Grosvenor Cafe, you’ll be the face of our place — welcoming guests with warmth and professionalism and ensuring every detail of their experience runs smoothly from start to finish. Whether it's a private event, dinner or drinks, you will take full responsibility for the welcome and reception duties, liaising with organisers and decor specialists, checking in on events and providing a friendly, responsive service throughout every guest's visit. You’ll also ensure the venue is set up to the highest standards, assist with opening and closing procedures, conduct regular checks for cleanliness and readiness, and prepare pre-orders, as well as confidently upsell packages to existing bookings as well as walk-in guests.
