Plumbmaster, a specialist division of Haldane Fisher, supplies high-quality plumbing and heating materials to the construction industry across Northern Ireland. Known for our technical expertise, dependable service, and strong relationships with trade customers, we continue to grow—and we're looking for the right people to grow with us. We are currently recruiting a Counter Sales Advisor to join our Duncrue Plumbmaster branch. This is a fantastic opportunity to build a long-term career with a successful and forward-thinking merchant, offering stability, development, and genuine progression.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver outstanding customer service at the trade counter
  • Advise customers on plumbing and heating products and solutions
  • Process sales transactions accurately using tills and internal systems
  • Pick, pack, and prepare orders safely and efficiently
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and well-organised branch
  • Support stock control, merchandising, and overall branch teamwork
  • Identify sales opportunities and assist with technical queries

About You

  • Strong communication skills with a professional, customer-focused approach
  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with trade customers
  • Experience in a fast-paced customer service or trade counter role
  • Knowledge of plumbing products (or willingness to learn)
  • Proactive, reliable, and detail-focused with a sales mindset
  • Forklift licence desirable (training can be provided)
