Overview

Salary: From GBP 58,732 per year, dependent on experience

Location: Milton Keynes

Hybrid working: Our current hybrid working policy requires a minimum of 60% of working time to be based in the Milton Keynes office; however flexibility is expected to meet the needs of the business and the role.

Hours / Contract Type: Full-time fixed term contract until 1/7/2027

What you’ll be doing

  • Take responsibility for the management and performance of our insurance products.
  • Provide insight and support as the product SME; relationship management of 3rd party suppliers, acting as a main point of contact; ensure appropriate contracts are in place with suppliers, and work with Legal to create new contracts, amendments and renewals.
  • Lead product review meetings, ensure products remain compliant, participate in internal committees, review procedures, and participate in audits.
  • Be responsible for reporting and forecasting, review accuracy of management information (MI), and measure performance against plan.
  • Lead planning rounds and reforecasting, and reconcile income.
  • Ensure excellent quality for customers through regular call listening, claim and complaint reviews.
  • Support the Product Channel Manager to deliver changes to existing products and be involved in project work for new initiatives.

What you’ll bring

  • Experience as an Insurance Business Manager with strong working knowledge of the insurance industry gained through technical, development and operational roles.
  • Strong leadership skills that enable you to engage, motivate, develop and inspire suppliers to perform at their best.
  • Understanding of mobility needs and related financing/aftermarket products; experience in a role supporting Volkswagen Group vehicles and related products is desirable.
