Our client is a fast-growing maritime technology company developing cutting-edge wind-assisted propulsion systems that reduce fuel consumption and emissions across global shipping. They’re now looking for a Senior Design Engineer to join their expanding engineering team. This is a hands-on role with broad exposure across the full product lifecycle — from concept development and detailed design through to manufacturing release and operational hardware. Working closely with the Head of Engineering, you’ll take ownership of key subsystems and help deliver robust, production-ready engineering solutions in a highly innovative, mission-driven environment.
What We’re Looking For
- Degree in Mechanical, Structural, or Marine Engineering
- 5–10 years’ experience designing mechanical systems for production
- Strong CAD capability in Siemens NX, Inventor, or similar
- Experience with fabrication, welding, and large structural assemblies
- Strong understanding of DFMA and manufacturability
- Proven track record improving cost, quality, and production readiness
- Experience working within marine, offshore, wind, or similar sectors
- Familiarity with class/certification standards (DNV, LR, etc.)
- Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, high-accountability environment
- Mandarin language skills would be advantageous
