Our client, a prominent player in the Defence & Security sector, is currently looking to appoint a Training Equipment Electrical Maintainer (Electrician) to join their team based in Fareham, Hampshire.
Key Responsibilities:
- Continuously improving personal contributions to the business
- Supporting future change within the company
- Collaborating effectively with MoD staff, maintaining appropriate behaviours
- Championing and fostering a culture of Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) compliance and continuous improvement
- Assessing reported breakdowns for rectification or escalation
- Acting as the front-line maintainer for breakdowns of Training Equipment
- Liaising with external resources and assisting as required for rapid rectification of defects
- Carrying out Planned Maintenance as directed by the Maintenance Team Lead
Job Requirements:
- Experience in servicing electrical equipment in a marine and/or military environment
- Experience in fault finding, diagnosing, and repairing electrical equipment
- Level 3 NVQ Diploma in Electrotechnical Technology or equivalent
- 18th Edition certification
- Strong problem-solving abilities
- IT literacy
- Ability to work unsupervised
Desirable Experience:
- Experience in using Computerised Maintenance Systems
- Possession of a driving licence
- Experience or knowledge of working on mechanical equipment
