Salary: £30,230 (based on an average 40‑hour week) – on‑target earnings up to £44,000.
Start Date: 13 July 2026.
This is a comprehensive 18‑month trainee vehicle mechanic development programme. You will learn the latest automotive technologies, attend workshops led by in‑house training experts, and gain practical on‑the‑job experience. You will be paired with a seasoned patrol expert for one‑on‑one mentorship, earn IMI and EV certifications, and work from your own van with a full uniform, boots, and equipment. Sign‑on locations and flexible standby hours are available to suit your lifestyle.
Responsibilities
- Provide vehicle maintenance and repair services.
- Offer excellent customer service – ask the right questions, explain fixes, and ensure customers can get on with their day.
- Work shifts that may include evenings, weekends, and bank holidays.
- Perform duties in any weather conditions.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in vehicle maintenance, repair, or customer service.
- Full Category B driving licence with 6 points or fewer.
- Category BE (towing) licence is preferred; it will be funded.
- Ability to work flexible shifts.
