We are looking for an experienced Technical Trainer to join our London office.
The role involves collaborating with Product Marketing Manager (PMM), Customer Success Managers (CSM) and other client-facing teams to train and onboard new users to Blue Optima’s suite of products.
Reporting to the Head of Product (HOP), you will deliver training sessions tailored to individual and group user needs, helping B2B enterprise clients seamlessly incorporate Blue Optima’s tools into their day-to-day operations.
You will develop, customize, and execute detailed training plans for each customer, ensuring sessions are aligned with user roles, organizational goals, and the needs of software engineering teams and post-training actions (such as monitoring user adoption and ensuring onboarding objectives are met).
Responsibilities
- Facilitate onboarding and training for new users at various levels, including Developers, Team Leads, their leaders, and executive dashboard users.
- Train and empower internal champions within client organisations to act as product advocates and encourage broader adoption of Blue Optima tools.
- Design and maintain a comprehensive content library, including user guides, training modules, and video tutorials.
- Conduct in-person and virtual training sessions, adapting delivery for one-on-one or group settings as required.
- Collaborate with PMM and CSM teams to ensure training content aligns with product updates, customer needs, and market trends.
- Monitor and assess the onboarding process’s impact on user engagement, usage, and retention, adapting approaches to minimise user churn.
- Provide continuous feedback to product teams on user challenges and training improvements based on client feedback and engagement data.
Qualifications
- Experience in Client Training: Minimum of 3-4 years delivering technical training for B2B clients in the UK, EMEA, and the USA.
- Proficiency in English with outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
- Adaptability and cultural awareness: able to operate in varied training environments and with diverse user backgrounds, including non-English speakers.
- STEM background: degree in STEM fields with a solid understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
- Technical training expertise: familiarity with digital tools and platforms for virtual training delivery; experience with LMS platforms.
- Project management skills: ability to manage multiple training projects simultaneously and coordinate with cross-functional teams.
- Additional languages: proficiency in other languages is a plus.
- Experience using analytics tools to measure training impact and derive insights for program improvements.
- Software engineering familiarity: background in software engineering or experience working with developer-focused products.
