Airbus Defence & Space is looking for an entry‑level IT Support Engineer to join its Newport site. The role involves responding to customer queries and issues across multiple products, investigating and reproducing reported problems, and working with a team of experienced experts.

Location & Type: Newport, South Wales (hybrid working available subject to company policy). Full‑time, permanent position.

Security Clearance: Must have or be able to obtain a UK Eyes Only SC Security Clearance through the UK Intelligence Community (UKIC) process.

Responsibilities:

  • Support Airbus Cyber Security’s cryptographic products protecting critically sensitive national and commercial information.
  • Support users and maintain equipment on internal and external classified networks.
  • Assist in the management of incidents through the process lifecycle.
  • Triage faults and reproduce them in a System Reference Model.
  • Patch and subsequently test systems to ensure no issues remain.

Qualifications:

  • Keen to learn and grow in an IT environment.
  • Basic knowledge or strong interest in networking, Windows Server, virtualization, cyber security, or IT support.
