Overview

Homecare Assistant – Join Nurse Plus as a Homecare Assistant and make a difference every day.

This temporary position provides compassionate care directly in clients' homes, supporting individuals with learning disabilities, complex care needs, mental health conditions, dementia, or assisting elderly clients.

Responsibilities

  • Provide personal care, assist with nutritional needs, and offer companionship in clients’ homes according to individual care plans.
  • Administer medications as directed and ensure safety and dignity at all times.
  • Support clients to live independently and with dignity, enabling them to remain in their own homes.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Over 18 years old and eligible to work in the UK.
  • Full UK driving licence is essential; travel expenses covered up to 45p per mile.
  • Strong communication skills and a good standard of English.
  • Enhanced DBS check (applied for upon registration).
