Overview
Opportunity within Neighbourhoods, Regeneration and Sustainability for a Security Officer to join the Security Service on a permanent basis.
Responsibilities
- Implement all aspects of the Council’s Security Service, including incident response, mobile patrols, CCTV monitoring and static guarding across more than six hundred properties.
Qualifications
- Driving licence is an essential requirement.
- Advantageous to hold an SIA licence; successful candidates will receive the required training and licensing support if needed.
- BS7858 Security Screening check will be required (career history, financial probity and criminal record screening).
- Contract Details
- 10‑hour shifts on a 4 on, 4 off pattern: early (6:00am – 4:00pm), dedicated (3:00pm – 1:00am) and night (8:00pm – 6:00am) on a rotating schedule.
- Non‑Standard Hours allowance of £5345.51.
