The University of Strathclyde is seeking a skilled and proactive Research Technician to join our technical and resources team. As a Technical Grade 6, you will provide advanced technical support for key laboratory activities, including cell culture, ensuring the effective daily operation of our analytical and biophysical research facilities and contributing to high-quality scientific outputs across various industry and UKRI-supported projects.
You will play a vital role in maintaining cell lines, supporting researchers with cell-based and biophysical experiments, managing laboratory resources within the wider Department, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. The position requires strong technical competence, excellent organisational skills, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively within a research environment.
Salary: GBP 30,000 - 40,000 per year
