We are looking for a dedicated and customer‑focused Facility Assistant to join our team within one of our local establishments. In this role, you will help ensure our buildings are welcoming, safe, and well‑maintained for all customers and service users.

Salary: £27,455 - £28,533 (Pro Rata)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing a high‑quality service to members of the public
  • Supporting building control and security
  • Carrying out cleaning duties to maintain a safe and hygienic environment
  • Performing minor maintenance and repair tasks as required

Essential Skills:

  • Strong administrative abilities
  • Good communication skills
  • Competent IT skills

Desirable Experience:

  • Previous work in a facilities management setting
  • Experience carrying out security checks
  • Cleaning duties and minor repair/maintenance tasks

Work patterns & Locations:

  • Hilltop PS 1 – Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday – 17:45 to 20:30
  • Hilltop PS 2 – Thursday – 17:45 to 21:30 and Saturday – 08:45 to 13:30
  • Tollbrae/St Edward's 1 – Monday, Wednesday, Friday – 17:45 to 21:30
  • Tollbrae/St Edward's 2 – Tuesday, Thursday – 17:45 to 21:30 and Saturday – 08:45 to 13:30
  • Petersburn FLC – Monday to Friday – 15:30 to 18:30
  • Taylor HS – Monday – 18:00 to 22:00, Wednesday – 17:30 to 22:30, Saturday – 08:30 to 13:30
  • Brannock HS – Monday – 17:15 to 21:15, Wednesday – 18:30 to 21:30
  • Devonview FLC – Monday to Friday – 11:30 to 12:30
