Job Overview

Angus Health and Social Care Partnership seeks an Occupational Therapist to join its Occupational Therapy team.

Based at County Buildings, Forfar, the role will cover the Forfar and Kirriemuir locality and involve travel throughout Angus.

Candidates may be in the final stage of their Occupational Therapy course or full‑time professionals with potential for additional hours.

Workstyle

Hybrid – flexible and agile working practices, including council buildings, service user locations, site visits and home work as required.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assess the needs of disabled children, adults and older people with various physical and mental health disabilities.
  • Provide advice and support to the person, family members, carers and other professionals.
  • Work independently and as part of a team with excellent communication skills.
  • Engage in continuous professional development with regular supervision and support.
  • Undertake development work related to manual handling.

Qualifications

  • Degree in Occupational Therapy or in the final stage of an Occupational Therapy course.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work alone and in a team.
  • Solid knowledge and skill set in Occupational Therapy practice.
