About the Role
A freelance Quantity Surveyor is required for a high‑tech processing plant fit‑out programme in North Hertfordshire. This is a hands‑on role working for a specialist subcontractor delivering internal packages on complex industrial and technical schemes. You will work closely with a commercially minded Director and be based mainly on site, managing day‑to‑day commercial activity and ensuring accurate records, measurements and cost control.
Scope of Works
- Fireboarding
- Dry lining and ceilings
- Firestopping
- Flooring and resin systems
- Internal and fire‑rated doors (plus some external doors)
- Roller shutters and fire curtains
Key Responsibilities
- Take‑offs and measurement of materials for ordering
- Daily worksheets, record keeping and commercial tracking
