This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Engineering Team Leader to play a key role in shaping the future of our operations. You will lead and deliver capital investment projects across the site, working hands‑on from concept through to completion. With the autonomy to manage your own projects, you’ll see the direct impact of your work on efficiency, innovation and continuous improvement across the business.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Carry out planned, predictive and breakdown maintenance across production and site equipment
  • Undertake repairs, refurbishment, installation, upgrades and modifications to machinery and facilities
  • Support continuous improvement and process optimisation initiatives
  • Carry out project work, including electrical installations and modifications
  • Diagnose and resolve faults on PLCs, HMIs, SCADA systems and control panels
  • Perform mechanical fault finding, repairs and routine preventive maintenance
  • Work closely with the Engineering Manager to promote a positive and proactive team culture
Requirements:
  • Minimum NVQ Level 3 in Engineering
  • Ideally qualified to City & Guilds / ONC / HNC in Engineering
  • Strong problem‑solving and fault diagnosis skills
  • Proven electrical and mechanical fault‑finding and repair experience (18th Edition desirable)
  • Experience working in a fast‑paced environment, ideally within food or FMCG manufacturing
  • Strong working knowledge of PLC systems, control panels, HMIs and SCADA systems
  • Understanding of electrical safety, isolation procedures and H&S standards
  • Experience working on high‑speed food production and packaging machinery

  • Salary up to £50k (DOE), £2,300 Call‑out Allowance, Sun to Tues/Wed (Days)
