What’s the Job?
We are seeking an instructor to deliver mandatory and in-house training courses to professionals within the Health & Social Care Industry.
The Commercial Development and Delivery Team are responsible for delivering a variety of professional qualifications, including certificated and bespoke courses, in a College that aims to be one step ahead.
Who we’re looking for
We’re looking for Health & Social Care Instructors with current, relevant qualifications and experience to deliver a range of mandatory and bespoke training courses to the sector.
Instructors will deliver from the following range of qualifications, depending on their experience and relevant qualifications:
- Workshops – Infection control, Medication Awareness, Adult Support and Protection
- Introduction to Social Care Course
- HNC Social Services
- PDA Health & Social Care Supervision
You will be suitably qualified and experienced working within the sector.
Experience of delivering certificated courses would be an advantage, but training and support will be provided.
- To succeed in this role
- A relevant certification in Health & Social Care or equivalent.
- Practical experience working within a care setting is essential.
- A Group Training Certificate or similar is desirable.
- Experience delivering mandatory or certificated training courses (e. g., Moving and Handling, Infection Control, Medication Awareness) is desirable.
- Strong customer service, organisation, teamworking, and relationship-building skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in digital skills relevant to the role, including experience using MS Office and any job-specific systems.
- Adaptability to evolving digital tools and a willingness to continuously improve digital competencies.
